Due Ponti Sporting Club was born from the idea of ​​Emanuele and Pietro Tornaboni to build an extra large and multi-purpose structure, where you can find a respond to all your sport and leisure needs. The realization of this project was completed gradually and today Due Ponti club is the most important reality in the Roman Capitoline sports scene. To date, the club boasts over 4000 attendees, including many celebrities from the world of entertainment such as Samantha De Grenet, Adriana Volpe, Barbara Chiappini, actors Sebastiano Somma, Daniele Pecci, Giorgio Pasotti. Also many former players from Rome and Lazio, from Angelo Di Livio to Vincent Candela, from Fernando Orsi to D’amico. The club has always been the site of sporting and social events of great media coverage and it is precisely for this reason that the organization has chosen the club as the best backdrop for the second edition of the PL Open.

The event is aimed at promoting sport and the restart of the whole country after the most difficult months of recent decades linked to the Covid19 pandemic. Precisely for this reason the organization, with great passion, is carrying out this project paying particular attention to the smallest details.
The tournament will see the 44 players participate (16 in qualification, 28 in the draw) best classified by the registrations received, in order to make the competition of a very high level.
Against the backdrop of the sporting event, various initiatives will be organized, including, on the occasion of the proximity to the great world event of the G20, a prestigious Gala dinner, with the aim of bringing together the most important public figures from the international diplomatic, political and cultural world.
The goal is to ensure journalistic and television media coverage through solid contacts, established over the years, with national televisions and local media.

Historical Gymnastics Club Rome, in collaboration with the Italian Tennis Federation, presented the First PL Open on clay courts between the Aurelian Walls and Villa Borghese.
The event was aimed at the best Italian players.

The event was aimed at promoting sport and the restart of the whole country after the most difficult months of recent decades linked to the Covid19 pandemic. Precisely for this reason the organization, with great passion, was carrying out this project down to the smallest detail.
The 32 best ranked players from the 272 registrations received participated in the tournament, in order to make the competition of a very high level. The organization has chosen for this event the Rome Gymnastics club which is located in the greenery of Villa Borghese, surrounded by the Aurelian Walls just a few meters from the symbolic streets of the Italian Dolce Vita. In addition, the event coincided with the historic milestone of the club's 130 years. We recall that the sports club was established on 21 June 1890 by the first memorable president Menotti Garibaldi (son of Giuseppe).
